PhysiTots is a mobile pediatric physical therapy service that delivers personalized, one-on-one care to
help children achieve their fullest potential.
At PhysiTots, we believe every child has unique gifts and potential. Our mission is to provide personalized, compassionate care that fosters success and supports the development of each child. We know that kids thrive when therapy is engaging and fun, so we approach every session with warmth, creativity, and a sense of play.
Our proactive, integrative approach is designed to prevent future challenges. For conditions like torticollis, early intervention is key to achieving the best outcomes, minimizing long-term complications, and maximizing functional progress.
At PhysiTots, we understand that there is no "one-size-fits-all" solution. Every child and situation is different, and we are committed to offering tailored treatment strategies that meet the individual needs of each child. We pride ourselves on taking a holistic, thoughtful approach to ensure that every child receives the care and attention they deserve.
At PhysiTots, our mission is to provide exceptional physical therapy services tailored specifically for children. We believe in fostering a supportive environment that promotes healing and development through play and movement.
A full gross motor physical therapy evaluation provided in the comfort of your home or via teleconference.
Recommendations will be provided regarding further services needed and a personalized treatment plan will be developed. Therapist will collaborate with caregivers on goals and plan of care. Evaluations will conclude with education and a home exercise program to empower you to get started right away.
Personalized plan of care will be executed based on findings from the evaluation. Parent and therapist will determine the appropriate length of session based on the child's needs. Activities and skilled techniques will vary depending on the goals of each child. Caregivers will be educated on appropriate activities/exercises to carry out between appointments.
Physical therapists play a critical role in identifying the need for orthotics. The decision to use orthotics is based on the assessment of range of motion, foot alignment, voluntary control of movement, muscle tone, and functional level of the child. After an assessment, therapist will make recommendations and provide appropriate orthotics. If your child requires a higher level of intervention, therapist will coordinate with a certified orthotist to collaborate and identify an appropriate intervention.
Kristen is a wife, mother, physical therapist, and the founder of PhysiTots Pediatric Physical Therapy. With over 25 years of experience, Kristen has dedicated her career to helping children reach their fullest potential. She graduated in 1999 with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Texas Woman's University and has since gained extensive experience across a wide range of settings, including acute care, pediatric intensive care units, outpatient clinics, home health, sports medicine, and wound care.
Kristen’s true passion lies in helping children with neuromus impairments and motor delays achieve developmental milestones and thrive. As a mother of three, she brings a personal, compassionate perspective to her work. Her own daughter, born four months premature, has participated in multiple therapies over the years, giving Kristen firsthand insight into the challenges and triumphs of therapy.
Kristen deeply values the importance of early intervention, but she also understands that the journey can sometimes feel overwhelming for both children and families. Her approach is centered on building strong connections with both the child and their caregivers. By fostering trust, collaboration, and open communication, Kristen ensures that therapy is not only effective but also empowering for the entire family.
Her ability to connect with children and work closely with families to achieve meaningful results is what truly sets her apart in the field of pediatric physical therapy.
